Sparring
« on: August 13, 2010, 06:10:41 PM »
Anyone practice martial arts and do sparring? I do some sparring with friends, I have been teaching my friend Jon a bit. He is still a beginner, but he is getting better. It is better I train with him than wrestle a pillow.

Boxing and grappling combined.

My dorm mate in college studied Kyokushinkai.  We had some fun, but brutal, play-fights in the dorm hallway.

20 years Shotokan and Tae Kwon Do - the last 18 months has been one injury after another plus weight gain and tiredness.  I'm doing paleo partially so I can train with strength and regularity again!
