I take vit D. I live in the north and don't see the sun much during the winter months. Vit D deficiency is common around here, so I just want to be safe. I'm also breastfeeding and want to make sure that my baby is getting enough vit D (she doesn't see the sun much either ) I also take fish oil as I have very dry skin, it seems to help. I alternate with flaxseed oil every now and then, as it is high in omega-3 and a cheaper alternative. I eat salmon everyday, but I still need that extra fat to keep my skin soft and smooth.
