I buy pemmican in bulk (US Wellness)

Woah there Captain Moneybags! Do you own a gold Lexus too?

:-)

I am going to buy a bucket o' tallow from US Wellness to make my own using jerky I've made from my local grassfed beef. US Wellness' pemmican is a great product but too pricey for me.

BTW - fried pemmican and eggs is the breakfast of champions... good stuff.

Of course the downside to that is if you do a lot of exercising and have a lot of muscle to maintain, cooking and eating 200+ grams of protein per day can be a little difficult especially when you work full time.  Not to mention how much 200grams of quality meat protein costs.

This is why I think so many bodybuilders etc rely on carbs to fill the caloric gap.  Any Joe blow can eat 300 grams of carbs per day, eating 300+ grams of protein (especially in meat form) is a entirely different beast.  That is a LOT of steak and chicken breast.
It's not that difficult really. I eat in the neighborhood of 300g. of protein a day. All from food sources.  For work I cook all my lunches for the week at one time, put them in containers and freeze them.

What do you eat throughout the day?  You should hook me up with a rough example of what you'd mow down.

I probably eat about 200gs roughly per day, maybe a bit less but I only weigh about 150 right now.

1lbs of jerky = 4lbs meat

I eat about 1/2lb of jerky 3 times a week. Half a pound of jerky is 200gm of protein. That's my protein supplement.

Pre-training - 1 whole egg fried in coconut oil
post-training - 8 whole eggs fried in tallow

lunch & dinner  - 1.25-2 lbs. of meat, poultry or fish
