Progress report
« on: August 21, 2010, 05:17:51 AM »
Date            Weight      Difference
April 21          190         N/A
May 20          182         8
June 20         172         10
July 20          164          8
Aug 20         157         7

I'm getting facial and other definition and yet the spare tire still there. Just so you know, I'm five-foot-eight and weighed 135 in university. I'm not expecting to be that weight again, but would be pleased as punch at 140. Since spring, i've gone down from a 42 jacket to a 36 (and can get into a 34 but it's a bit tight), and from a 38 waist to a 32.

I'm guessing that the rate of weight loss  will begin to flatten at the 145 mark so going to one 140 may take until February. That being said, I wonder how long the loose skin at my midsection will take to tighten? I'm doing callisthenics daily, btw.

Some people's loose skin never tightens up. Mine won't, as I was ginormously fat when I gave birth. Men seem to do better with it.

Thanks!

I started running again in August and I'm starting to feel strong. I did my first 10k yesterday and feel fine. I shan't push it for fear of re-injuring my foot but will gradually increase the distance of my long run based upon how I feel. I think I'm getting denser but am still at 157.

Massage will help skin. Like deep, skin-pulling massage, different than muscle massage. I saw a before & after show on it. The technique: oil up the stomach and pull/roll *the skin* upward, separate from the muscle underneath. It takes a month or more to look dramatically different, but it looks better after a few sessions.I did 20 mins a day, every day while I watched tv. I looked better but need a plastic surgeon.
