I love what my new exercise regime is doing to me and it's so easy to fit in (40 mins every 3 days).  I can't believe I wasted years at the gym for no result and now I can change my appearance in a few months  :o

What is your new exercise regime?
I'm on Raw Paleo diet but I have kids to feed on cooked paleo diet.

So here's the difference over the last 3 months of 2009 (I looked the same in October as I did in the first shot):



* I thought I should post some progress of someone trying to get bigger on paleo, not smaller ;)

• Grains (wheat/rice/oats etc) . . . . . • Dairy (milk/yogurt/butter/cheese etc)
• Refined foods (salt/sugars etc ) . . • Nightshades (peppers/tomato/eggplant)
• Tubers (potato/arrowroot etc) . . . . • Legumes (soy/beans/peas)
• Modernly palatable (cashews/olives etc)

Obviously I'm still far from Tarclachs mirror image, but everyday I hope to get closer  ;D

I am not 100 percent sure if it has been in fact a month yet but here it is..

I will post up yet another picture here in a month or so, I then can get a pat on a back for improvement or be criticized for my short comings. lol joke








EDIT: Sorry about the picture quality, it probably makes me look fitter then I actually am!

How much do you weigh Tarlach? You are ripped as hell.
The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.

'Anecdotal Evidence' is an oxymoron.

I am 6' and weight about 180lb.  I keep getting bigger, but my scales say I weigh the same (they are crap scales though).

It might be true as I am losing a bit more fat still.  I keep seeing new veins and muscles I never knew were there   ;D

how the heck are you guys posting photos?  It always says the upload folder is full!

You only get a small quota for uploading files to the site.  You can also host your photos elsewhere (ie. photobucket) and then just link to them.  That way you get unlimited space  ;)

Well, here's this morning's documentation of reaching my goal, down around 15% BF, from 196 in early December. No increase in exercise to date, but that starts tomorrow. I'll try to find a before (from last year in my wetsuit) and take an after for comparison. Problem is, I just had bought a new, extra-large, wetsuit, right before I went Paleo and now it's too big for me.

When this thing started, I thought I was about 25 pounds overweight. 37 pounds later....

Once I discovered I could save the world, I very soon realized the world did not want to be saved...
