More progress: I used to have palindromic rheumatism, and it is now a year since my last flare. I think it's safe to say "used to have" now. In a third of cases it goes away by itself anyway, so it may just be coincidence, but paleo can't have hurt. I believe it is cured.
Also, not sure if I've mentioned it, but I had a sensitive margin on one of my molars where the gum had receded, for about 15 years. After a couple of months on paleo, I noticed the sensitivity had gone away. Well I can no longer feel any gap between the enamel and the gum. I don't know if it has remineralised or if the gum has advanced or what, but there is no gap any more.
My DD who's had eczema since she was four years old had improved so much after four months on paleo she decided she could withdraw from steroids. The withdrawal has been hard as it gets worse before it gets better, but she's coming out the other side now. Her face is clear, arms healing (used to have big patches of lichenification now soft skin with a few patches of eczema), she's starting to get more energy, still quite bad behind the knees. I believe that in a year she will be completely healed. She is feeling very positive about the future as the eczema has been a blight on her life for as long as she can remember, and now she feels it is possible to be rid of it forever.
