Congrats!  What a wonderful example of how wonderful this diet is!

I, too, get lots of compliments on my lifestyle change...how I look, etc.  BUT, no one is willing to really make the change.  Weird.

My asthma disappeared when I started Paleo. Completely gone. When I had some milk about 3 weeks ago I had a major asthma attack complete with inhaler! Go figure huh? It's been gone again ever since.

My wife is a dairy asthmatic also.  Wlfdg isn't, so it seems that dairy isn't the only trigger though...
The "Seven Deadly Sins"

• Grains (wheat/rice/oats etc) . . . . . • Dairy (milk/yogurt/butter/cheese etc)
• Refined foods (salt/sugars etc ) . . • Nightshades (peppers/tomato/eggplant)
• Tubers (potato/arrowroot etc) . . . . • Legumes (soy/beans/peas)
• Modernly palatable (cashews/olives etc)

I just came home from doing a massage. My client goaded me into stepping on the scale in her house. I have lost about 16lbs. in 8 weeks.  :) So my bodyfat % was a lot higher than I thought it was when I started.

I am gaining strength on all my lifts each week. I'm measuring it based on actual weight moved or perceived exertion on the lifts I'm not overly focused on increasing weight in.

I definitely faster on the bike!

Day 75! 15 more days until I reach my first goal!

I can not believe how incredible this way of eating is, done at 100% commitment!

Every time I get on my bike I set another PR. I set a PR yesterday morning and set another PR this morning!!!!!!!! ;D

When I think "NO WAY did I recover from that last workout" I'm even stronger!  :o

I have NO, NONE, ZERO, ZILCH ASTHMA ISSUES!

My lifts are going up!

My bodyfat is coming down!

Heck I went to start buying new clothes. My waist is smaller. But my thighs, back, shoulders, chest and arms are bigger. So, I'm still wearing the same sizes I just need to buy a couple more belts.

So is the missus thinking about trying paleo yet?

No, it's an occupational impossibility being a Pastry Chef and all.
She is eating dinner that I make for her when she comes home at night. She eats about 90% Paleo when we are off for a full day together. So one day a week. She has a body that most women would kill for even with all the refined food and sugar she eats.
She is being super supportive of me eating Paleo now.

Sounds like you're doing great!

"I can't get over how positive your moods and energy are."

This hasn't been discussed much here, but I wonder if there's a real connection.  I feel like I can handle things without stressing over them as much as I used to before I went paleo, and similarly for my wife.  Certainly the general attitude of people on this board seems to me more positive than on any other web board I frequent.

I have noticed exactly the same thing, my life is quite high in stress, but since paleo it is like water of a ducks back.
The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.

'Anecdotal Evidence' is an oxymoron.

You know, I've noticed that change in myself as well! Old family conflicts that used to ruffle my feathers all the time,  now just wash over me, it's so amazing and wonderful!

I'm at 103 days today!  ;D I feel amazing!

I reached my first goal 13 days ago and it went by without me realizing it.  ;)
Goal #1- 90 days 100% (99.99% ;)) Paleo.

Goal #2- Get super lean
For the next 90 days my focus is going to be focusing on getting super lean which shouldn't be too difficult since it is getting cold out and fruit is about to get real expensive again! Hunting season also begins in 21 days which will get me off my bike and hiking a lot more. It has already started snowing in the mountains which should help push the bears down low and into the berry patches.

Bear meat is awesome! Imagine feeding a pig organic veggies and berries only. That is what bear meat is like. Best pork you have ever had!

A couple of days ago I pulled my favorite brush pants out to wear hunting and they were more than a little big. When I was putting them on my GF said "Wow, you look like you lost more weight. You look leaner!"

So yesterday I stepped on the scale at the gym. I've lost 3 more lbs. While I was sick for those 3-4 days I ate like a condemned man and did no exercise.

So I am down 19lbs. since starting Paleo and 3 waist sizes. I'm eating about 1lb. more meat per day and a lot less fruit. So I'm eating 4-5lbs. of meat a day, 1-2 pieces of fruit and about the same amount of veggies.

Wow, your progress report is incredible! You've done great!

I know what you mean about the clothes not fitting.  I've resorted to safety pinning my skirts up lest they fall off my waist mid-stride!  I hate clothes shopping.  :(

I was a chunky couch potato just over a year ago. Then I cut out grains, sugar, and most processed food.  Now every day I think, "wow, I feel good!"

And with recently cutting out dairy and the smaller processed items that were left (diet soda, splenda, crystal light), I expect I'll be feeling even more awesome as time goes on.

It's all good, and I'm lovin it!
