Homosexuality and Paleo Diet
« on: March 06, 2010, 07:10:25 PM »
Are there any long time paleo dieters who are homosexual?

I'm theorizing that paleo diet gives us full genetic expression.

So males become more manly and women become more womanly.

I'm thinking those "in between" will not be "in between" for long on paleo diet.

I hope I worded this question properly so as not to offend sensitive people.

Hopefully people don't just smite you for this because I think it is quite an interesting question.

We know food affects sex hormone levels, but do we know that post puberty sex hormone levels affect sexuality? Or even any hormone changes past in-utero?

I've not read anything to suggest that altering sex hormone levels in an adult could affect his or her sexual preferences, but it isn't really a topic I've read much anything about.

The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.

'Anecdotal Evidence' is an oxymoron.

Ha ha ha.  People smite me here left and right.  It must be the cultural chasm.  I'm Filipino and I live in the Philippines.

I'm typing this in a dunkin donuts cafe for the internet wifi connection.
I got myself plain black coffee just as an excuse to have a seat and some internet.
Seems 50% of the males going in and out of this place are effeminate or homosexual.

I'm also thinking of the time when our first born son was 1 year old and he was effeminate, a toddler effeminate homosexual.

My wife and I took action and researched and found that SOYA, was a prime suspect for homosexuality.  In 2001 to 2002 my son was being given soya in the form of "Taho" everyday from a door to door vendor.

We stopped all taho and all forms of soya and soy food in our household.  Our son immediately became manly in a few weeks.  It was no coincidence.  It was as real for us as night and day.  Soya was making our first born child gay.

Our boy is now 8 and all male complete with erections.  He likes boobs!  Hey, I didn't teach him that!

I heard that soy connection about 10 years ago.  Dr. Stephen Byrnes published an article disputing it.

I heard/read that soy formula given to baby females is a large cause of the rash of infertility in the western world now.

My take from reading about such things is that gay/straight is fairly determined by dna/genes and can be only affected by food in such a way as you become a truck driver-type gay or a drag queen-type gay.

Psychology, psychiatry and medicine seem to agree that you can't successfully really change gay to straight or vice versa.  It seems to be set at birth and perhaps only the diet of the mother could affect the fetus in any appreciable way.  Google, et aliis, can give thousands of references on any front for discussion.

As to religion altering any inborn bent, notice all the 'family values' representatives/senators lately who are on the wire for bathroom improprieties or driving home drunk from a gay bar, etc. ad nauseum.  Just stating...

Well there have been a few papers put out which discussed the apparent link between males late in the birth order and homosexuality. Something about the womb building up antibodies against male children bit by bit, so the last one really gets a big dose. I will try to find the paper later on.

I read somewhere about ring finger vs index finger lengths. Ring finger longer --> more testosterone while in the womb. Usually (but not always) women have a shorter ring finger and men a longer one.

About the diet: soy and other estrogen-laden foods would arguably make someone more prone to being more feminine. How this relates to homosexuality, I don't know.

It doesn't. Having tons of estrogen in your body doesn't make you want to put your penis in a man.

Questions like these tend to come from people who are afraid of homosexuality as if it were a disease and/or wrong. This is usually due to crazy religious beliefs and comes out of the mouths of the same people who think the Haitian earthquake was because they made a deal with Satan, and thus they deserved it.

Homosexuality is normal and fully explainable in the caveman era.
  • There is not a SINGLE animal species ever found that does not have an instance of homosexuality
  • Homosexual birds, such as flamingoes and penguins have an observed and recorded purpose - they are not breeding pairs, and are thus able to take on raising the children of dead parents. They are built in orphanages. Try reading the book And Tango Makes Three
  • Some pack animals, such as wolves, have only one breeding pair in a tribe/clan/pack/group. The rest of the males and females tend to either not have sexual relations at all OR they resort to homosexuality because the alpha-males will kill the offspring.
  • Bonobo monkeys use sex to solve conflicts. Two monkies get upset about something and they play with each others genitals to lighten the mood. Male or female, they don't care.

There's much much much more out there. Suffice to say that I absolutely HATE when people try to explain homosexuality as if it were a disease or syndrome that can be affected by diet. The following quote angers me:

I'm also thinking of the time when our first born son was 1 year old and he was effeminate, a toddler effeminate homosexual.

My wife and I took action

Took action? As if he was BAD? What if you just repressed him? There are many gay men who are not effeminate. The gay community calls them "bears"

What the hell? How do you know they're homosexual? Are they wearing a sign?

Maybe they were in their late 30s or early 40s, were thin, neat appearence and dressed well. . .
Oh, wait a minute.  I think that was a Seinfeld episode. . .   Nevermind.  ;D

I'm a Filipino in the Philippines so there is a big cultural difference from where I live compared to some of yours.  We aren't smiteful here.  ;)

Effeminates and gayness is accepted in the Philippines.
So these effeminates or gay people do not hide their demeanor.  In fact they advertise it in their dress and actions.
They fling around their hands and speak gay speak complete with girl like actions as if they were girls with girls.
In the latest restaurant advertisement on TV girls laugh out loud at a handsome guy who later speaks in gay speak tones.

Yes gays in the dunkin donuts cafe put out a big fat sign that they are gay / effeminate... like the gay in the American TV series GLEE.
