I just have a cheapo plastic round five tray Nesco. It works fine but this time I did half my meat in the dryer and 1/2 in the oven to see which is best. It look like a tie. You can't mess up jerky I guess....mine is very good. I do use spices and marinate it for a day or two but hey....it is meat.... I am looking at a stainless steel Lim or Lum dryer from Sears. $299 for a 9 tray with timer and all the bells and whistles.
