+1. I am at a computer class for a couple of weeks down here in southeast Georgia, which is in the "stroke belt." Its very tough to find places that serve paleo friendly food. I can get deep fried Oreos though. 

My first stop when I got here was to the grocery store to stock up on veggies and meat.

I would have to pass on the Oreos, but the deep fried pickles would be tough to pass up.     Yum!

Never had the fried Oreos, but at the state fairs you can get bacon with a dipper of chocolate. It's actually really good!

The strawberry festivals in February are the best for good eatin's though.

OMG!  NPR was talking about fried beer in Texas during their state fair.  I am still waiting for a report from a friend who was going to try it.

I always enjoyed the artichoke festival in Castroville, CA when I lived out there as well.  Yummmm

Well, having tried fried Pepsi years ago, I can guess that fried beer is going to taste even worse than the Pepsi! The frying oil takes out all the carbonation, leaving a nasty ball of greasy semi-sugary dough. It was disgusting!
