Observation
« on: August 17, 2010, 06:31:21 AM »
Sometimes when I am out and about, I cannot manage as much fat as I would normally eat at home.

I find that when I don't have enough, my circulation suffers and I get cold hands and feet, even when the weather is warm.

Does anyone else have this problem. My circulation has always been excellent but lack of fat = chilliness.

:)

I love my computer, all my friends live in it.

Seems to make sense to me.  Fat =energy, energy =warmth!
No expectations, no disappointments!

Actually, I doubt it's related to consumption of energy, and more based on your metabolism. Body temperature is a sign of your metabolic state.

By that logic, ought five-meal-a-day eaters be warm as they are "stoking the metabolic furnace" as they say on T-Nation?

No, but there is science claiming that eating that many meals a day does not increase metabolism. Prolonged fasting is known to lower it though.
