we shouldnt give motif such a hard time, I've only seen some comments on marijuana, not really anything else

Motif got all upset because a mod (Samjohn I think) disagreed with him in a post.

Note that the mod didn't actually moderate against him.  The mods here are really good about letting the discussion thrive and focusing their moderation on removing spam.

Anyway, Motif subsequently left in a huff.

Sometimes when someone makes a goodbye post, I'm tempted to reply, "goodbye ... and good riddance!"

I've spent most of my life getting upset in retaliation to other people getting upset. I reached a limit. When I see people say something to the effect of "OMG YOU ARE SO  DUM! DUMASS, IM LEAVIN!", I just drop that person from the small part of my brain that recorded info about them. Poof, gone

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.
