Nicole's simple journal

I open this journal as I am planning to write down my meals.
Sept 1 / 2010
Breakfast : IF
Midmorning snack : 1 cooked egg
Lunch : mixed salad, zuchini, tomato  with olive oil and oregano, 150 gr ground beef
Afternoon : 75 g strawberries at 18 h I was hungry so I took a pur porc dry sausage
Dinner : carbonades flamandes (beef stew) with a big salade mix + olive oil/balsamico

Thursday sept 2
Breakfast : 150 g homemade 24hrs yoghurt with a sprinkle of cinnamon
Midmorning snack : 1 egg
Lunch :  slice of lambliver sauteed in olive oil with fresh rosemary,  ratatouille
Afternoon snack : 1 apple,  few dried wolfberries
Dinner : nothing

Looks like a good start.  The yogurt isn't paleo, as it's dairy, but otherwise it looks fairly good.

Well dident get time to write my daily journal over the weekend,  was to busy with the dogs and we got many people visiting.
Tuesday sept 7
Breakfast (10 h in the morning)  Omelette (2 eggs) with bacon baked in olive oil.
Lunch : homemade endives soup, ground  beef with green bell pepper and iceberg salad + olive oil & balsamico sprinkeled with fresh herbs (thym, rosemary, salie = dont know how to say in english)
Afternoon snack : medium banana
Dinner : paleo beef stew,  I did let the wine described in the recipe,  out and replace it by beef broth.

Breakfast : smoothie made of blackberry's, 1 apple, spoon sunflowerseed.

Lunch : no time so I grabbed a banana
Afternoon snack : some ground pork
Dinner : pork sausage and apple compote
To much fruit but got such a busy day.

Breakfast : blackberry's
Lunch : 4 ounce of meat (chicken breast, pork) with tomato / green belly peper, olive oil, balsamico & oregano
Dinner :  chicken breast baked in olive oil,  peaches

Be sure to reas the label on the sauage - they hid grains in a lot of them as filler.  Here in the US you sometimes see HFCS as well.

Thanks for your warning,  but this is homemade,  the pork was raised by our neighbours the biological way.  So after slaughtering everything is cut up and sausage is made,  with just nutmeg & peppers as spices.  Could say grass-fed pork.

Breakfast :  a bit strange this morning, I was making vegetable soup over night in the hay box, so when I open the box this morning the soup was ready and smelling delicious,  just couldend resist.  I got a big bowl of mixed vegetable soup based on a strong beef stock for breakfast  :o
Lunch : 2 eggs omelet baked in olive oil, with smoked pork belly, tomato, green belly peper and spinach, provencals herbs & garlic.
Afternoon snack : banana
Dinner : baked fishfillet

Lunch : sauteed leeks,  pork filet pur baked in olive oil, glas of red wine
Afternoon : 2 banana's
Dinner : piece smoked trout,  ham, americain préparé, salad & tomatoes

Lunch : ground beef and brussels sprouts sauteed in olive oil
Dinner : lamb liver sauteed in olive oil with scallion and smoked pork belly,  celeriac puree
