I may get chastised for this, but I don't think paleo needs to be expensive. You don't need to buy everything Organic-Grass Fed, Pasture Raised, 100% Free of Everything. I mean, you *should* if you can. But there's nothing wrong with a grocery store steak, except the O3:O6 ratio. Just make sure you eat some fish or take fish oil. There are SOME fruits and veggies in which buying organic is a good idea, but for the most part it's not the most important thing. The most important thing is that you eat an apple instead of a Snickers bar, organic or not.Farmers markets, though, are awesome.
Sometimes you just have to do the best you can with what you've got.
Have you tried localharvest.org? You can look on there for farmers in your area that you can buy a side of beef from. We purchased a brand new 28 cubic ft. freezer and found that it still saved us money even that first year over buying from the grocery store. After butcher cost and everything it is usually about 4-4.5 dollars a pound for the meat (pastured, grass-fed wonderfulness) and that is of course for ALL THE CUTS:) I usually pay that just for ground beef at the store. We ordered 2 whole beefs this year for my family of four and it will be around $2500 for a year's worth of beef in good plentiful proportions.
Here's a link to a paper on arthritis and nightshades:http://www.noarthritis.com/research.htmBased on an elimination diet, I was getting minor arthritis from tomatoes and possibly peppers. It went away when I eliminated them from my diet. If you really like tomatoes, it's probably safe to eat them until you're old enough to feel the symptoms.

Yeah - juvenile arthritis is a real thing. So I think I defeated the rheumatism monster. Osteoarthritis is still a threat for me, though
Depends on the length and severity. For instance, I went on an kayaking trip and gave myself traumatic arthritis, which could definitely be mistaken for juvenile arthritis, but heals itself
