Thursday
[rant mode]

Rubbish day for food today, and not by choice

7:30
Scramble egg  - 2 eggs
Bacon – 2 slices
Apple juice – 1 glass

Breakfast options at current hotel suck, but not as much as the main meal options

19:30-21:00
Yes it took them that long to provide an average (non-paleo) 2 course meal
Started out ok
Rare sear Tuna with salad – seemed pretty free from non-paleo seasonings etc
Pork fillet with Pancetta Cabbage – no not happy with this, apart from the 60 minute wait between courses, came with a heavy sauce and lots of ‘flavouring’ on the cabbage.  What’s most annoying is I was considering cheating tonight as I was travelling back from 1 meeting to the hotel I’m staying at whilst I work away, and with the meal I just had would have been better to pick up a couple of burgers at burger king & ditch the bread.  GGGGGRRRRRRR will not be eating here again.

What’s worse is I’m still fricking hungry and am too tired to go out to get more food.

This weeks eating away has not been good, think next week I’ll find 1 place I can trust and just eat there all week, it may get boring but at least I wont get annoyed at having to eat stuff I don’t want

Thought i'd start posting these, not the best example but hey

Looks good jman.
Sunflower seeds aren't necessarily paleo, though.
Any idiot can get on a treadmill and watch TV and then take great pride in the fact they've exercised.

Thanks, the packet's empty now so will replace them with something else, probably almonds

Probably going to stop posting daily foods, think i have things sorted food wise.

1 change i am making is including IF in my WOE.  Yesterday i planned to have an eating window of 5pm - 10pm wasn't too difficult, but eating later in the day gave me some sleep issues so today i've shifted it to 3pm - 8pm.  This also fits in well with when i do my strength training, which is usually around 2pm

I am still having the odd piece of fruit during the day but the bulk of my calories will be in that 5 hour window.

ok scrap that idea, without breakfast today and with lots to do i had the worst headache.  this is the first one i've had since switching to Paleo so i think it's time to bring breakfast back.  That said the bulk of my calories will still come in the evening

Been a bad weekend, had a few cheat meals and now struggling to get back on track.

I so badly want pizza, but determined that it'll be chicken wings, mainly because i know i'll be annoyed with myself if i do have junk

Went for the chicken wings, and they were good :)

Still getting cravings for junk, mainly pizza and doughnuts. I suspect this is due to the cheats at the weekend.

You can include sleep time in your fasting window, so there's no real harm in fasting from, say, noon until you wake up. Might be worth a try. I, for one, found only the first 3 days to be difficult and am now regularly eating one meal a day.

As an aside, posting daily foods does a little more than let you figure things out - for me it makes me accountable. "Oh can't eat that for dinner, or else Warren Dew is going to call me out because of the dairy!"
